Instant Digital Card for OverDrive

No library card? Fresno County residents ages 13 and up can get immediate access to the Library's OverDrive collection of eBooks and audiobooks by using a mobile phone number. To sign up with your mobile number in the Libby app for Android, Apple iOS, and Windows 10 devices:

  • Download the Libby app from your device's app store.
  • Open Libby and find Fresno County Public Library.
  • Sign up by entering your mobile number and name.

You can also sign up for Instant Digital Card on the Sign In page on our OverDrive website and in the OverDrive app (available for Android, Apple iOS, Windows 8 and 10, Kindle Fire, and Chromebook).

In Sora, use your school's online sign-in

With Sora, students with participating Fresno County K-12 schools can borrow age-appropriate eBooks and audiobooks from our Libby/OverDrive collection-no library card required!

To get started:

  • Install the Sora app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, or go to
  • In Sora, find your school, then enter your school's online sign-in. (If you need your school's online sign-in, talk to a teacher.)
  • Tap the ☰ icon, tap Add a public library, and search for Fresno County Public Library.
