Your Library Card
Library cards are free. There is a small replacement fee for lost cards.
You may choose to set up a Personal Identification Number (PIN) for your card at the time the card is issued to you. If you don't remember choosing a PIN, try the last four digits of your home phone number. If this doesn't work, call or visit one of the library branches for assistance.
What You Can Do with Your Library Card
Anywhere you can use the Internet, including Library Branches
- Use databases (Magazine and newspaper articles, encyclopedias, auto repair, others)
- Reserve books
- Receive library notices via email & get your books, CDs & movies faster!
- Renew books
- Check status of your library account ("My Account") - what's out on your card, due dates, status of requests
At Library Branches
- Borrow library material -- books, books on tape, videos, CDs

Print the form, fill it in, and take it, with photo ID, to any branch of the Fresno County Public Library. If ID doesn't show current address, please bring something else that does (a recent utility bill, for example) along with your ID.
