Before Using WebReference...

When and how will questions be answered?
Library staff will do their best to answer your question, or suggest how you can further pursue your question, within 48 hours (two business days - excluding weekends and holidays). You will often reach a librarian more quickly by calling (559) 600-7323 any time the Central branch is open and pressing 5 when the recorded message begins.
The library does fax and mail information to people for a fee. Otherwise we will answer by email.

How do I ask a question?
To help us answer your question correctly, please provide us with as many details as possible. You want the value of a 1966 Plymouth? What model? How many doors? Which engine? Which accessories? How many miles on it?
You'd like to know the population of Fresno? City or county? Currently or historically? By ethnicity or just the total population?

For answers to more complex questions or research assistance...
please visit or call your neighborhood library. Central Library has the biggest collection of reference works. You can call Telephone Reference anytime Central branch is open at (559) 600-READ (7323).
