How to reserve an item online:
- From anywhere on the library Web site, click the “Catalog” button
at the top of the page.

- Type in the name of the item you are looking for into the search box.
If you know the exact title, choose the “Title starts with…” option.
You can also search by author name, subject, or keyword. Click the “Go” button.

- Select the item you want from the list provided. If you don’t
see what you are looking for, try a different type of search, or let
us know what we’re missing by suggesting
a purchase.

- You should now be looking at the record of your item. Just before
the Copy/Holding Information, there are two buttons to the right: “Add
to My List” and “Request Item”. Choose the “Request
Item” button.

- Type in your library card barcode number and personal identification number (PIN). If you don’t have a PIN, visit or call your local library branch to set one up.
- Choose the branch where you would like
to pick the item up. Click “Request”.

- You will be notified by your choice of email, phone, or mail when the item is available to be picked up.
- If you have any questions or encounter any problems, please call the Central Library Reference Department at 488-3195 or email frweb**fresnolibrary.org (replace ** with @).
