Red Cross

Help keep your family safe in severe weather, man-made/natural hazards with Emergency by the American Red Cross. Monitor conditions in your area or area of loved ones, prepare your family and your home, check to see if loved ones are safe and let them know you’re safe. A must have for anyone who live in areas prone to severe weather or have loved ones that do.

FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency)

The FEMA app is your one-stop-shop with tools and tips to keep you safe before, during, and after disasters. Stay updated with weather-related alerts from the U.S. National Weather Service.  Save a custom list of the items in your family’s emergency kit, as well as the places you will meet in case of an emergency. Get tips on what to do before, during, and after over 20 types of disasters. Finally, locate open shelters and Disaster Recovery Centers.

Pacific Disaster Center

Disaster Alert is a free-download, global, multi-hazard monitoring and alerting application.

Flood Watch

FloodWatch allows users to monitor rivers and streams throughout the United States. Add USGS gages to your favorites for quick monitoring of current gauge height, precipitation, and flood stage.

WISER (Wireless Information System for Emergency Responders)

WISER is a system designed to assist emergency responders in hazardous material incidents. WISER provides a wide range of information on hazardous substances, including substance identification support, physical characteristics, human health information, and containment and suppression advice.
