Adopt a Branch Library
The Library has branches in 33 locations, and we would like to have more. The Adopt-a-Branch program is a public/private partnership designed to provide our branch libraries with the resources they need to meet the unique needs of their constituents. Tailor-made for the community served, the Adopt-a-Branch program may support a variety of services and resources, including:
- The purchase of new computers, books or furniture.
- "Helping Kids Succeed" - resources for students, including Collections of Books and Materials that support local school curricula and an After-School Computer Aide.
- Reading Enrichment Programs for Children and Teens. (under development)
- Special outreach programs and activities for families.
- Cybercarts, which help provide computer training for adults. (under development)
- Cultural and Literary Programs for Adults.
