The California History & Genealogy Room will be closed from May 6th - June 16th. During the Room's renovation, selected Haines and Polk Directories will be available on the first floor of the Central Library at Information Services. In addition, selected microfilm of the Fresno Morning Republican, Fresno City Directories prior to 1930 and Sanborn Fire Insurance Maps will also be available. Staff will answer questions and obituary requests via phone at 559-600-6230 and email, but complex research inquiries may be deferred until access to the entire collection becomes available. The Room will reopen June 17th at 10 a.m.
